Azahar · Nintendo 3DS
Azahar, which follows Citra and Lime3DS, keeps 3DS game saves in an emulated SD card (sdmc) in its user folder, and save states as .cst files in states.
%APPDATA%\AzaharThe portable build uses a user folder next to the program.
~/Library/Application Support/Azahar~/.local/share/azahar-emu~/Emulation/saves/azahar/saves~/Emulation/saves/azahar/states~/retrodeck/saves/n3ds/azahar/sdmcIf you moved from Lime3DS, you may have two user folders; check both before assuming a save is lost.
A game's save is in sdmc/Nintendo 3DS/00000000000000000000000000000000/00000000000000000000000000000000/title/00040000/<title ID>/data/00000001/. Save states are states/<title ID>.<slot>.cst.
Rather than walking those folders, right-click a game, Open, Save Data Location. File, Open Azahar Folder opens the user folder. On Android, use Open Save Data Folder.
sdmc folder across.data folder. The SaveSync app for Windows, Mac, Linux, Steam Deck, and Android will watch Azahar's save folders and sync them when you close a game. It is coming next.
Today SaveSync syncs RetroArch through its built-in Cloud Sync. See how to set it up.
